On the Other Side is the lyrical true story of Jamaican migrant farmers who travel to Western Massachusetts every year to pick tobacco. Made for just $250 over two years, the movie is the first production from B-Line Films.

About this gallery
While filming the movie, Director Allan Shinohara also chronicled the the lives of the "On the Other Side" with his digital still camera. This gallery holds just a sampling of the many photographs he snapped over the course of six months.
