About: History
Where we started
In the summer of 2003, four friends headed to western Massachusetts with $250 and a camera to shoot our first film. Three years and many, many hours of shooting and editing later, their film, On the Other Side, premiered on the opening night of the New England Film and Video Festival. Since then, we have continued making films under the name B-Line films.

About our name
We started our film careers working in the Boston neighborhood of Allston, which is served by the B-Line branch of the city’s green line subway. Since we all had a universal hate for the line, we named ourselves after it.
